Turtle Creek Park

Established in 1909, Turtle Creek Park is a 14.1-acre community park near our Dallas location at Park Place Offices. It distinctly connects the Oaklawn and Uptown zones giving the community a serene and beautiful park right in the middle of these urban neighborhoods. Approximately four miles away from Dallas Love Field Airport, this park provides the freshness of nature that every city needs.

When you Visit Dallas this location is ideal for sightseeing turtles in their natural habitat. These turtles have been residing in the creek for different eras and make part of the history of this area. Their existence and persistence have made them the main focal point for the parks and recreation department. The name originally came from Texas Rangers who picked the area to meet and referred to it as “the creek with all the turtles.” Years later Turtle Creek Park is recommended by Trip Advisor as one of the many Things To Do in Dallas within this historic part of the city.

Not too far from the office, the Dallas Parks – Turtle Creek Facilities allow for a small escape from the daily routine where you are able to get sunlight and enjoy the company of many turtles. It is also the house of Arlington Hall, a multipurpose event center that has been protected and preserved by members of Turtle Creek Conservancy for decades.
