About Karen Johnson
Karen Johnson began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted hundreds of criminal cases, many through trial. She later served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Capital Litigation Division of the Georgia Attorney General’s Office where she led complex evidentiary hearings and argued cases before the Georgia Supreme Court.
Karen went on to co-found a criminal defense firm in Tampa, Florida, focused on appeals and retrials which yielded successful outcomes for numerous clients. Karen’s diverse legal background has given her a profound understanding of the justice system, which she brings to every interaction with potential new clients at The Wilhite Law Firm.
Karen is licensed to practice law in Colorado, Texas, Florida, and Georgia.
